I learned a lot using Photoshop and WordPress in today’s sessions. As usual i found out that you can never know too much about Photoshop. The masking tool and many of the short-cut key commands were totally new to me. It’s easy to see that Dana really knows her way around Photoshop.
I was especially impressed with the potential WordPress could reach. It’s an excellent tool to use during our summer session. I am in the process of adding photographs and extra pages. I just signed on as a member to Photobucket.com which makes it really easy to import photos to post as tag lines to my blog. i will probably have to sit down and download many of my archived photos to photobucket so i can upload them to my blog. it is really exciting how i am able to use so many different programs in making one single site. everything streamlines together to really make the final product pop.
Tonight i will work on more sequences for the projects due in a few days. I was able to post small .jpg images of 2 sequences I’m working on. eventually, I’d like to be able to click on the tiny sequence link on the main page and another window pops up with the full size sequence there for the viewer to observe. all in due time.
depending on my connection speed at home I’ll try to jazz up my blog site a little more before i go to bed. I’d also to create a sequence using photos I’ve take a few months ago.
looking forward next class.
